Sale of Emagister to Miura Partners

Torch Partners has acted as financial adviser to Emagister on its sale to Miura Partners.

Emagister is the learning Marketplace offering a wide range of courses and training centres all over the world, covering all existing categories and types of disciplines. Founded in 2000 and based in Sant Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona), the company has been working for more than 20 years to help students achieving the desired results from training, understanding their circumstances and aspirations. It is currently present in 15 countries, especially in Europe, Italy and Latin America, and has more than 120 employees.

Miura Partners is a leading middle-market private equity firm in Spain based in Barcelona with more than €1bn of Assets under Management. The firm is specialized in investing in mid-size family-owned & entrepreneurial businesses, providing attractive growth and innovation plans, and with a clear focus on sustainability.
Miura Partners and its portfolio company Educaedu, a leading digital educational platform for training courses and access to the labour market, have acquired Emagister, the learning marketplace, to consolidate their leadership in the sector in the Iberian Peninsula, Italy and Latin America.

With the incorporation of Emagister, Educaedu consolidates its position as one of the main educational platforms that connects lifelong learning institutions with people aiming to develop knowledge and skills. Together, they have achieved a strong international presence, offering their services in more than 20 countries – especially in Europe, Latin America, and a wide educational offer that exceeds 150,000 critical professional skill courses.
